Owners Comments

CARLA CHRISTIENA has given us many years of enjoyable sailing from the inland waters of Holland to the Aegean Sea and back.
Before setting off for Biscay and beyond we spent a whole summer exploring Normandy, Brittany and the Channel Islands where we came to fully appreciate the feeling of comfort and security provided by the HR37 centre cockpit fixed windscreen layout.
The furling mainsail controlled from the cockpit gave us much greater confidence, as a couple, sailing in bigger winds as reefing was so easy.
While a number of our Mediterranean summers have been spent living mainly at anchor, we have always enjoyed the ability to explore even small harbours and CARLA CHRISTIENA's size and bow thruster installation have allowed us to do this.
We have lived on board from May to October over the last 7 years and have found the living accommodation to be a real pleasure both in practicality and quality.
We have enjoyed an adventure of a lifetime and although our energy is waning CARLA CHRISTIENA is ready to turn round and do it all over again.

Interior in satin varnished mahogany throughout with blue upholstery, curtains and carpets over teak and holly striped sole boards. As with all Hallberg-Rassys this yacht benefits from good fixed and closable ventilation from two large dorade boxes over the saloon, three fixed tannoy type vents, a louvered grill in the companionway washboard, eight opening ports in the coach roof and three large opening deck hatches.

Accommodation is accessed through a companionway at the forward end of the centre cockpit, four broad steps take you into the saloon with the chart table to starboard and the galley to port.  The saloon comprises large folding leaf table on the centreline with bottle storage to centre.
