The latest and greatest Hallberg-Rassy will make its world premier at the Düsseldorf Boat Show 20 -28 Jan 2024 but you can have a sneak preview of the Hallberg-Rassy 69 on YouTube. The Movie charts the launch of the yard's new flagship and explains the concept and operation of some of the sophisticated systems that make this big, modern, cruising yacht one of the easiest to manage in its class.
“Push Button Sailing” is a Hallberg-Rassy trade mark and on the Hallberg-Rassy 69 not only can all the sail area be set, reefed, and furled away from the helmsman’s position but all aspects of trim including halyard, backstay and vang tension are available with the push of a button and monitored at a screen on the pedestal. A UV-protected push button furling Code Zero on the bowsprit completes a comprehensive easily managed sail plan.
Moving below deck the ease of management theme continues with a single level sole from the foc’sle to the owner’s suite in the aft cabin. There is a natural flow through the accommodation which is bright and spacious but retains a homely atmosphere with plenty of handholds that make it as easy to use underway as it is in harbour.
Essential resources are finite on a yacht and critical to the comfort and safety of the crew so the Hallberg-Rassy 69 comes with 2,300ltrs of fuel and 1,900ltrs of fresh water which can be topped up daily with a high-capacity water maker. All critical systems have redundancy built in and with a Lithium-Ion based power source, all systems can be quiet-running. when needed, power is quickly replenished with the standard 17.5KW diesel genset sharing a soundproofed, walk-in engine room with the main engine producing upto 300hp from a relaxed, 6 cylinder, 5.5ltr marine diesel engine.
