Designed by Germán Frers, with her well laid out interior, comfortable cockpit and excellent sailing characteristics, it is not hard to see why the Hallberg-Rassy 31 enjoyed one of the longest production runs in Hallberg-Rassy's history.  SEEPFERNCHEN has been carefully maintained and regularly updated by her current owner.  She is an immaculate example of this popular and capable shoal draft, comfortable cruising yacht.

Accommodation

The interior is finished in selected mahogany with matt silk varnish. Lighting throughout the boat. Light blue/grey patterned upholstery with cream curtains to the side windows, and under the skylights. The floor in varnished teak with holly stripes. Red carpet protects floor immediately under companionway steps and aft cabin.
Webasto diesel fired cabin heater with warm air outlets in each cabin including heads.

SALOON:
Two sofas, two metres long with a dropleaf table on the centreline. Bottle stowage in centre section of table. Lifting sofa backrests allow wider berth for sleeping and space for bedding, etc, when not in use. Extra bulk head cushions. Lockers with louvered doors and bookshelves over the sofas. Stowage under the sofa on the starboard side. Wempe Clock and barometer mounted on main bulkhead. Ivory headlining accentuated with fore and aft mahogany stripes. Large opening deck hatch Headroom 1.86m in the saloon.

GALLEY:

Galley to port with drawers and cutting board. 2 burner Eno cooker with oven. Opening window above. Deep double sink with pressurised hot & cold water. Cold water foot pump as reserve. Insulated ice box with 12v refrigeration unit. Worktops in white.

CHART TABLE:
On the starboard side is a forward facing chart table with seat and drawers. Instrument
shelf. Electrical switch panel with voltmeter, fuel and water gauges. Pioneer FM/AM radio and CD player

FORWARD CABIN:
V berth arrangement with two berths, 2.12m long. Stowage below berths. Shelves at the sides. Two door cupboard forward containing windlass motor. Extra opening deck hatch. Door to the saloon.

AFT CABIN:
Double berth, 2.25m long where it is longest and 1.62m wide at the widest point. Large wardrobe with extra shelves. Shelf over the berth. Two opening windows. Folding door to the saloon.

HEADS COMPARTMENT:
Bulkheads and cupboards in white laminate. Built-in shower stall with teak grating. Pump action Jabsco marine toilet (New 2009). Stainless steel holding tank. Stowage over and under the china sink.
